I was in a real dilemma trying to find a hitch for my 2010 BMW 335i MSport, six speed manual transmission four-door sedan. The hitch was going to be used only for my high end Yeti SB100 mountain bike. My car is not a stock 335i with over 500 rear wheel horsepower and everybody told me I was crazy for putting a hitch on this car. After I did a few months of extensive research I chose stealth hitches.
This was my criteria that had to be met...I didn’t want to see the hitch when I didn’t have my bike rack on the car, I didn’t want to add a lot of additional weight to the rear end of the car. Without the 2 inch receiver installed I only gained 4 pounds additional weight since the original BMW crossmember is not used anymore the stealth crossmember takes the place of the-original. Last the quality had to be impeccable the stealth hitch is impeccable!! Even the exhaust hangers are so well-made and designed I didn’t even need to look at the directions it was that easy to install once the bumper was removed.
No factory hitch even compares to the stealth hitch, I don’t care what car you’re talking about putting it on this stealth hitch is a work of art. They are definitely more expensive than other aftermarket hitch but the money didn’t matter to me and still much less expensive than the factory hitches. Stealth+1up Bike Racks Match made in heaven. Both are handmade in the United States.
Check out the picture of my back end. Great service from stealth also, save yourself a lot of time and heartache and just choose the stealth hitch. I love it!! Thank you.
