CanadaI own a BMW sedan, and had trouble finding a hitch for our bicycles. BMW do not make one for their cars, only their SUVs. Several local hitch shops did not have any aftermarket hitches and they refused to "McGuyver" one for me citing liability issues. I found out about Stealth Hitch, the ease of purchasing it on line for my specific model was so easy, thank you. It was delivered within a week of ordering. I took it to the local BMW dealership for installation and it was done.......thank you all is good...
United StatesI’ve got a BMW M240 and there is a heat shield the instructions didn’t have anything about. It required a significant amount of modification in order to make the Stealth Hitch sit flush against the frame. Thankfully that didn’t scare me. Installation time was more like 3 hours instead due to this. But, now that it’s in I totally love it. I’ve gotten a hitch-mounted bike rack and it’s SO much more stable than the trunk-mounted janky one I had before. Worth it.
United StatesThe Stealth Hitch for my M235ix BMW installed without a hitch (pun intended). The design, quality, packaging, and instructions were all outstanding and at the same level as if it came out of the BMW factory. The install took about 2 1/2 hours at a leisurely pace and I couldn't be happier with the results. Additionally the hitch set arrived even faster than expected. Initially I thought the pricing was a bit steep, but now that I have installed the hitch set, I would say it's quality and value exceeded the purchase price.
