I'm Australian and this is easy to say. Stealth Hitches are the real deal. What a Great American business. They're like a Patriot Campers in Queensland. Just doing it right, doing it properly. I've been looking for a hitch option for my 10 old Mercedes Wagon (a rare model) for well over 3 years. And then one night a single photo of a 2014 car (same model-but the coupe) on a MB forum site lead me to a web link. Called SH twice over the following 2 weeks - had some specific questions and spoke to two lovely gentlemen in Richard & then Jeremy. Both were a well of knowledge and kindly gave me a snippet of their time to help solve this puzzle. Got the Hitch 10 days ago - installed it myself. Build quality is exceptional. Phenomenal. Just made in America quality shining through in every detail (Made in Kansas I believe). Electrics done by the pros next week. I'm stoked as it bears a proper load/weight (nose weight specifically). Fantastic. I'll be spreading the good word on Stealth for sure. Pumped for new adventures carrying more stuff around.
Installed by an authorized installer, the product does its job throughout a 1300 miles trip towing a 6x12 U-Haul trailer.
Got a stealth hitch for my Mercedes Benz E 350. The design is outstanding and I would recommend this product to anyone with a luxury vehicle.
Anticipation, anxiety, and ultimate ly satisfaction. I ordered the hitch in advance as the particular model car I have required the hitch to be custom built. I took the car and hitch to a certified installer who could not remove the rear bumper because a Mercedes wagon required a 5 inch deep 10 mm socket wrench. (his 4 1/2 inch deep socket wrench worked on the Mercedes sedan but not the station wagon). I went online and ordered the socket wrench and returned a week later to have the hitch installed without any difficulties. I subsequently towed a 21 foot trailer 800 miles with no difficulties! Design of a concealed hitch is ingenious! The beauty of having a concealed hitch makes the trouble of having to get under the car to install the tow ball worth while.
Love the new hitch on my AMG! The car looks perfectly stock until I decide to put the hitch receiver on and it is very easy to change out. I had the install done by Rack n Road and only took a few hours. I'm very glad to be done with roof top bike carriers on this car, this is by far the best approach.
