Easy to install on a 2017 X3. The images in the directions could be better, but it's enough to get the job done. The wiring was the hardest part because the colored wires didn't line up, but a simple test with a multimeter helped figure it out. After we finished the installation I couldn't find the keys to the lock. I was about ready to flip out when we pulled off the rubber stopper in the receiver and found the keys! A note saying the keys are in the receiver would have been helpful. All in all, it was painless and worked well thr first time out.

Satisfactory- however I did not realize that it was involved assembly. Searching for someone to assemble it for me. Oh well

This hitch is amazing. I needed a hitch and didn't want to have an **** receiver sticking out all the time. With the instructions and watching videos online I was able to easily install this well made hitch. The engineering quality is excellent. I definitely recommend it!

Had it professionally installed. Can’t even see it is there. Easy to use and secure.
